How do you flatten out an event banner?

Hey, I'm helping out with a charity even and we bought a big event banner for the red carpet entrance. But it came all folded up in the box and we're wondering if anybody has any advice on how we might get the creases out so the pictures look nice %26amp; don't have any unnecessary background distractions.

Thanks!|||What is the banner made of? If it's fabric you can often use an iron - just don't rub over any lettering on it as it will melt the printed ink and smear it. Always test a small corner first to make sure that it's going to be ok. If however it's plastic laying it flat and flattening any particularly bad creases with a weight (a book or two) for a few hours should reduce the creases.

If you have a contact number for the company that sold you the banner, I would contact them for what they would recommend.
