In what culture does the color red signify sadness, sorrow, or mourning?

Typically red clothing or a red banner is worn to signify the loss of a loved one.|||I have read a bit about a society or race known as the Phraddorrians where red signifies loss and mourning (sorrow). There hasn't ever been much published on it, but what I have found has been interesting.

Red is the color of mourning in South Africa.

|||Martian.|||I have no clue, but I seem to think somewhere in Native America there might be. Could be North, Central or even South American native cultures. Not sure. Perhaps Asian or Muslim? Not certain there either. I actually did a search and could not find anything.|||This is an interesting question, but I can not think of any ideas.
