How to add a black banner at the bottom of a video with Aegisub?

Hello!





I'm adding subtitles to a video that already has subtitles in another language burnt on the video itself. I would like to add a black banner at the bottom of the video to hide the previous subtitles.


Or at least, add a black thin banner below the video (even if the other subtitles will show) but I will put mine in red or anything other color.





How can I do that on Aegisub or Virtual Dub?
